Do you have an idea for a step towards a greener, fairer, healthier environment in the West Midlands?
Folllowing on from the launch of West Midlands Combined Authority’s – Local Nature Recovery Strategy, the Nature Call to Action Campaign is now underway – providing £2,500 each to 14 community groups across the West Midlands to run nature-based projects in March 2026.
They’re looking for simple, local ideas that:
– help people enjoy and connect with nearby green spaces
– create or improve habitats for wildlife
– bring a little more nature into urban areas
It’s a great opportunity for our local parks and open spaces volunteer group to get funded for something they’ve been dreaming of doing, or to try out a new idea that would benefit their local area.
The deadline to apply is 19 January 2026.
