A Year of Celebration: Events for 2025

2025 marks a major milestone for Birmingham Open Spaces Forum (BOSF) as we proudly celebrate our 20th anniversary. For two decades, our wonderful volunteers and open space custodians have championed the protection, enjoyment, and enhancement of Birmingham’s parks and open spaces through the power of community action.

Founded in 2005, BOSF has grown from a small network of local park friends’ groups into a vibrant city-wide organisation that supports over 135 groups and volunteers. Our mission has always been to support people who care about their local open spaces – empowering communities to take the lead in making them safe, healthy, and inclusive for everyone.

To honour this important anniversary, we’ve planned a rich programme of events and activities throughout the rest of the year. These events are designed to celebrate our journey, engage new supporters, and showcase the incredible work our members do every day to care for Birmingham’s green spaces.
Here’s what’s coming up:

December

Tuesday 1st, Volunteer Evening Celebration to finish off our 20th Year in style at the Birmingham Midland Institute *

Location: 9 Margaret St, Birmingham, B3 3BS

Stay tuned for more details on what’s happening, when, and where later this year.

We look forward to seeing you soon!
