Stephens Pond and Berryfield Orchard (Friends of)
The Friends of Stephens Pond & Berryfield Orchard is a community project which hopes to improve the woodland and green space around Stephens’ Pond to make it an enjoyable oasis for all to enjoy.
This group won a Local Hero’s Award 2022 for community champions across Sutton Coldfield, from the Sutton Coldfield Town Council. Founder Susan Rooke was delighted with the award saying “We are creating a beautiful space for future generations; our aim is to put Stephens’ Pond on the map – this is only the start of what we can achieve.”
