• Perry Common Meadows (Friends of)

Perry Common Meadows (formerly known as Perry Common Recreation ground) is the home to a Tiny Forest, grassland and a stream known as Hawthorn Brook.
The Meadows provides a wonderful wild open green space for local residents and includes many beautiful mature trees and a Tiny Forest (Earthwatch Citizen Science site). The meadows are enjoyed by local families and dog walkers who just want to enjoy the open air.

The Friends of Perry Common Meadows are a group of local residents that come together to keep the park tidy and protect the Tiny Forest which offers families the chance to reconnect with nature and learn about
conservation, biodiversity and the natural environment. Volunteer work is carried out regularly including litter-picking and the maintenance of the Tiny Forest.

The group are actively recruiting more members, so please contact Stephanie Boyle if you are interested in volunteering. (See below for contact details).

    Current Project

The Friends of Perry Common Meadows are currently carrying out a consultation survey asking local residents what improvements they would like to see in the park. This will be followed up by an open day to share results and proposals for the future development of the park.
