Minworth Action Projects was set up by residents to improve the green spaces around the village of Minworth. In August 2022 a small group of residents met to discuss the lack of facilities for residents in the village. During September 2022 a village-wide consultation was carried out to identify the villagers’ priorities for green spaces. As a result it was decided to work together to improve the facilities in the existing playing field for both young and old alike and explore the possibility of creating an orchard on the open space opposite The Boat Inn on Old Kingsbury Road. Grant applications are being prepared.

In the meantime group volunteers carry out litter picks and cutting back vegetation where it is overgrowing pavements.
