This 43 acre park is situated approximately a mile from Birmingham city centre. The former Small Heath Estate was placed in trust to Birmingham City council in  1876 by Louisa Anne Ryland. The park includes a large boating lake and a huge  variety of fabulous trees ( the autumn leaf colour is amazing.)  The park also has a Victorian bandstand.

Today it hosts various events including funfairs, The friends of Small Heath Park ( FOSHP) pop up events and most recently Eid Celebrations. The friendly FOSHP group have clear visions on  ways  to continually  improve the quality of the park for friends family and visitors to enjoy
