Shard End Parks (Friends of)

Friends of Shard End Parks is a volunteer group dedicated to protecting, enhancing, and celebrating the green spaces along the River Cole. Covering the Cole Valley north from the “fairground” narrows near Station Road roundabout, through Brookmeadow Public Open Space, and beyond Shard End Lake at Babbs Mill, they work to keep these vital landscapes thriving. Whether it’s habitat conservation, community clean-ups, or improving access to nature, they are here to make a difference for both people and wildlife.
