Calthorpe Park (Friends of)

One of Birmingham’s oldest and most cherished green spaces, Calthorpe Park holds a special place in the city’s history – the second public park to open in Birmingham, welcoming visitors since 1857.
The Friends of Calthorpe Park is a volunteer group formed by local residents who share a passion for this historic park and a determination to see it thrive. Born out of concern over the prolonged decline in the park’s facilities, the group campaigns for improvements and organises community events to bring residents together around their shared love of the park.
Whether you’re a regular visitor, a local resident, or simply someone who cares about green spaces in Birmingham – the Friends of Calthorpe Park welcome your support.
