Extra free tree packs available for communities before 13 September deadline!

The Woodland Trust is offering community groups, youth groups and schools the chance to apply for packs of free trees for delivery in November 2013 and we are accepting applications until 13 September. We can now supply extra packs for your projects, with 420 saplings being the maximum quantity you can request for autumn 2013. For example, if you have already applied for a pack of 105 trees, you can apply for another 3 packs of 105 trees in the same or different themes. Alternatively you can apply for several packs of 30 trees.
The packs come in three sizes – 30 saplings, 105 saplings and 420 saplings in various themes (hedge, copse, wildlife, wild harvest, year-round colour, future firewood and wetland).  I’d advise groups to apply sooner rather than later as we are sometimes oversubscribed and may have to close early.
