• Handsworth Eco Action EventĀ 

    Join the Friends of Handsworth park, local young people and BOSF, for a family friendly event to help raise awareness about Climate Change and the environmental crises that our planet is currently facing. There will be a range of fun and thought provoking activities to take part in, encouraging discussion and solutions for ways we can all help fight in the battle against Climate Change. 

    During the afternoon there will a number of inspiring free activities and workshops to take part in:

    • “Make a Living Wall in the Park” with local artist and community gardener, Eleanor Hoad.
    • “Inspire with Art – Stop Litter in Parks!” recycled arts workshop with BOSF and artist Ildiko Nagy.
    • “Play a Part in Saving the Planet” photo booth.
    • “Climate Change – The Facts by Sir David Attenborough” Documentary Screening.
    There will also be a number of stalls and the opportunity to speak to local politicians about Climate Change and the effect it has on our lives in Birmingham.
