“We are striving to raise awareness of Birmingham Youth Strike for Climate as a movement, UKSCN as an organisation and climate change as an issue. We will be joined by organisations such as Eco Birmingham, Change Kitchen, the Active Wellbeing Society and Extinction Rebellion. We hope you enjoy the day!” – from Birmingham Youth Strike for Climate

As part of this event BOSF will be hosting a Recycled Art workshop with local environmental artist Ildikó Nagy, part of the new Birmingham based “Stop Litter in Parks – Inspire with Art!” project.

14:00 – 15:00 in the workshop room and 15:30 – 17:00 outside in the carpark.

These workshops will encourage you to get creative using materials collected during litter-picks by local volunteers in parks. It will inspire thinking about the global issue of single-use plastics and promote discussion on ways we can all help to stop littering in parks while creating an eye-catching piece of artwork.
