Digby Park (Friends of)

The Friends of Digby Park has been set up by members of the community, to help locals join together and assist in developing Digby Park into a more family friendly space.

 

The group would like to raise funds in order to buy more resources for the park – such as; bins, benches, a slide, more swings etc.

 

The group meet up every Sunday for a litter-pick in the park, 10am – 11am, all are welcome to come and join in.

Sometimes the group meet up even more frequently, so keep an eye on their social media pages for more activities and opportunities to volunteer in the park. 

 

The park is noted to have a good path for walking that is suitable for all ages. 

 

The Friends of Digby Park will continue to work with local police officers to deliver family fun litter picking events. The group aim to work with local schools, and plan to help set up a few community groups such as a ladies walking group and more.
