Bulb Planting at Victoria Common 18th October

Come along and join the Friends of Victoria Common on Saturday 18th October, from 10.00am to 12.00 midday, to help plant bulbs and sow seeds for their wild flower meadow.
Victoria Common has this year successfully joined the ranks of 1482 other parks and open spaces across the UK in achieving a high enough standard to receive the Green Flad Award.
The Green Flag Award Scheme is the benchmark national standard for parks and open spaces and recognises excellence in the way our open spaces are managed. Congratulations to the local Parks Team, Birmingham Parks and Nurseries and the Friends of Victoria Common and especially Mick the Park Keeper, for all their efforts in raising the standard of the park to achieve this award.
