Vacancy for Cheif Executive at The Wildlife Trust for Birmingham and Black Country
A unique opportunity to join a successful conservation charity at an exciting time.
Role: Chief Executive
Salary: £42K
Location: Edgbaston, Birmingham
The Wildlife Trust for Birmingham and the Black Country is where the urban wildlife movement began to save treasured green spaces from development. We now work with the help of over 10,000 enthusiastic members to make the urban environment a better place for wildlife and people. The staff of 18 and more than 200 active volunteers are dedicated to helping wildlife thrive here, whether they be scarce, like the otter, water vole and stag beetle, or common, like garden birds and butterflies.
We are looking for an inspirational Chief Executive to lead us through the next stage of development.
You will be an inspired, passionate and committed leader with the excellent interpersonal skills necessary to lead staff and volunteers as well as to represent the Trust authoritatively at all levels. You will have the ability to inspire the confidence of funders and civic leaders as well as experience of generating income and financial management in the not-for-profit sector.
