Tame Past Present Future Exhibition
MADE are delighted to announce dates and venues are now set for the Tame Past Present Future Exhibition. Over the next two months it will be touring the midlands telling the story of the river, the industries which settled alongside it and the communities and people connected to it.
The exhibition is the culmination of MADE’s HLF funded Tame Past Present Future project, which aimed to identify, promote and celebrate the industrial heritage of the much hidden and often forgotten River Tame. Since May 2014 MADE has been training and supporting local groups as they researched their local heritage in communities alongside the river. We then combined this with existing knowledge about sites along the river and together produce an overall picture of the Industrial Tame from pre industrial revolution to the present.
