Perry Hall Park Successful Funding Bid For Sensory Garden

The Friends of Perry Hall Park are excited to announce a successful bid to the Big Lottery Fund. A Sensory Garden is going to be built near the entrance to the park, to which the schools and local day centres have all shown their support for the project. Plans have been drawn up and we are just awaiting a contractor to be appointed to start the project.
Kate and Helen from the Friends Group will be overseeing the project but we hope to invite groups and supporters in to help with some of the planting once the contractors have completed their work.
We will be holding a Celebration Open Day sometime next year once all the work and planting has been completed. We are all very excited about the project which will be a great asset to the area and encourage more people of all ages and abilities into the park and garden.
