• Harborne Hill Allotments

Harborne Hill Allotment Association exists to promote the interests of its plot holders, working together to improve site facilities in partnership with Birmingham City Council and the wider community. The Association runs a small shop selling gardening essentials, open every weekend through the summer, and has recently introduced social events such as plant swaps to bring members together. Volunteers regularly take on tasks like clearing overgrown plots and managing vegetation, and the site has a long-standing connection with Kingsbridge School, whose students help out with communal maintenance. One plot holder has even developed a striking iris collection, which she opens up for visitors to enjoy each June. Harborne Hill is also active in local networking, meeting quarterly with other allotment associations in the Harborne and Edgbaston area to share ideas and tackle challenges collaboratively.
