The Friends of Rectory Park are a group of local residents that help to look after the park and have assisted in the creation of the cycle path amongst many other features. The group also secures funding to keep the park looking beautiful and keep the wildlife that lives there safe and happy.

 

The Friends of Rectory Park (FORP) have four main aims:

• To protect the Heritage of the Park and to preserve its Natural Character
• To promote awareness of the Park’s Treasures to the public and encourage community use 
• To protect the Park’s environment, by replacing dead and fallen trees
• To encourage the wild life and protect their habitat
