• Mayoral Hustings 7th April

As you know on the 4th May the West Midlands will be asked to vote for our first ever Mayor. We need to make sure that all candidates are committed to restoring and improving the natural environment as a priority for wildlife and for the people who live, work and visit the West Midlands.
Evidence shows that a healthy natural environment is essential for a healthy economy but current policy from the West Midlands Combined Authority fails to recognise this or indeed to mention the natural environment.
The Wildlife Trust for Birmingham and the Black Country have therefore organsed a natural environment hustings for the mayoral candidates on Friday 7th April, 6.30 to 8.30pm at Curzon Building, Birmingham City University
