• Marketing and Communications Coordinator at Northfield Ecocentre

    An exciting opportunity is available to join the Northfield Ecocentre team. We are looking for a Marketing & Communications Co-ordinator to join us to create campaigns that increase our profile, raise levels of user engagement and increase valuable funds for our projects and organisation. The role is focused on creating messaging stakeholder engagement and media liaison. It also incorporates many aspects of digital and print-based marketing. It is essential that you have broad experience in all aspects of on- and offline marketing and communications.
    Northfield Ecocentre inspires people to live sustainably through education, arts engagment, advice, events and activities. Reporting into the Director and working alongside the project co-ordinators, your responsibilities will include: developing and implementing the marketing and communications strategy; acting as a brand ambassador; developing tactics to maintain and increase profile, engagement and support for the organisation’s cause; creating, developing and implementing online and offline campaign strategies for our projects – including managing website content, writing copy, press releases and contributing to social media accounts.
    For this role, we would like for you to have a degree in marketing or an equivalent qualification (for example, Chartered Institute of Marketing diploma); additionally, there will be a substantial amount of marketing collateral production, therefore it is vital that you are skilled in writing and proofing copy and briefs for designers.

    Terms and Conditions
    This a 12 month, 0.5 fte, part-time contract (18.75 hours per week) with the possibility of an extension.
    The salary is £24,082 pro-rata.
    You will be entitled to 21 days holiday pro-rata plus Bank Holidays pro-rata.
