This is an exciting opportunity to join the Wildlife Trust for Birmingham and the Black Country. We are entering a new phase of development and know we need to engage more people with the natural world to protect wildlife and to ensure everyone benefits from contact with nature.
The successful applicant will develop the People and Wildlife Department, building our membership and capacity and working with a wide range of stakeholders including
- Health providers to connect people with nature to benefit their own health and wellbeing
- Education providers and youth organisations to develop nature conservation and ecological skills and understanding in our areas
- Land owners such as housing associations and health care providers to engage their clients in managing their land for nature
- Schools and community groups to ensure every child has a wild experience in nature
Working as part of the Senior Management Team, the post holder will contribute to developing the strategic direction of the Trust and generating income to support our activities.
Salary: £29,709 – £30,594 depending on experience
