Help The Friends of Witton Lakes to transform a disused cabin at Witton Lakes in to a vibrant community space!
VOTE ‘The People’s Park Project’ AND HELP MAKE THIS DREAM A REALITY
Voting begins this Saturday 27th February at your local Tesco store and ends Sunday 6th March
The Friends of Witton Lakes are thrilled to share with you that they have been selected by Tesco and Groundwork UK to receive funding of between £8,000 to £12,000 for a community project that will help to improve the local environment, and our ‘The People’s Park Project – Community Cabin Makeover’ plans to do just that!
YOUR VOTE could help them receive as much as £12,000 to transform the sad looking cabin, which currently sits in the community orchard at Witton Lakes in Erdington, Birmingham, into a vibrant community space for all to enjoy.
The finished space will be multi-use, functioning as a mini tea room, class room for outdoor learning and community craft space. The grounds around it, will also be transformed into a natural play area.
