Free Trees for School, Community and Youth Groups
The Woodland Trust has 3000 free tree packs to give away to schools, community and youth groups.
The free tree packs are available for planting on one publicly accessible site. The packs available are:
- Small (30 saplings)
- Medium (105 saplings)
- Large (420 saplings).
Schools can apply for pack of up to 60 packs. Packs will be awarded on a first come first serve basis. All applicants need to do is find a suitable site and supply the volunteer planters and tree protection.
This August marks the 100th anniversary of the outbreak of the First World War. The Trust would like organisations, schools and groups to take part in a once-in-a-generation tribute to all those who gave their lives by creating a growing legacy that will stand tall for centuries to come. Over the next four years the Trust are offering three million free trees to help communities, schools and youth groups remember their local heroes. Register now to receive your free trees and create special, living memorials.
The closing date for applying for a free pack is the 7th January 2015.
