Events at Kings Norton Local Nature Reserve

You are invited to join the Friends of Kings Norton Local nature Reserve in their conservation activities, every Tuesday from 10.30am to 1.30pm, each week.
Please see below a list of their planned activities. All dates are weather permitting and full instruction will be given on site.
Please meet on site and wear stout waterproof footwear and old clothes. The appropriate equipment & materials will be provided. Please spare one or more hours of your time to assist us in progressing the LNR Management Plan.
3 June at BW & Sheila’s Meadow – Tidy up, Balsam, Litter pick & scythe
10 June at Pea Fields – New scrape area Balsam clearance/ litter pick & scythe
17 June  at River Rea – North + South Bank Balsam clearance/Path maintain
24 June at Popes Lane Pool area – Balsam clearance/Path maintain
28 June Guided Walk
1 July at Pea Fields extension – Hedge lines – weed/prune
8 July at Wychall Reservoir – cycle path Balsam clearance/Bench maintenance
15 July at Pea Fields – New scrape Balsam clearance/ litter pick & scythe
22 July at Wychall Reservoir rear – Balsam clearance/Path maintain
26 July Guided Walk
29 July at BW Meadow – Tidy up/Tracmaster work
5 August at Old Orchard/Beaks Hill Road – Tidy up, litter pick & scythe
