Cycle Instructor Training
Are you Interested in working as a Cycling Instructor?
Spend 4 days training as a National Standards Cycling Instructor and if you successfully complete the course you will receive a Nationally recognised qualification. The first course will start on Monday 15th December and will run on Tuesday 16th December, Thursday 18th December and Friday 19th December from 9.30am until 4.30pm. The venue will be at a central Birmingham location.
The course is a mixture of classroom based learning and practical activities.
Applicants need to be aged over 18 years of age and be competent in riding a bike.
Working with adults and young people, this course is suitable for keen and enthusiastic cyclists or people who want to contribute to their local community.
This course is free of charge. In return, you will then be required to deliver 36 hours of training to adult learners on a voluntary basis within 3 months of completing the course.
Places are limited and will be offered on a ‘first come’ basis. You will be helping to shape and build the brand new Big Birmingham Bikes programme which is a pioneering project to enable our communities to cycle.
