• Birmingham City Council and Living Streets Small Grants Fund

    Living Streets is a national charity that prioritises pedestrians. Walking Cities – Birmingham is funded by the Department of Health, and is one of five Walking Cities projects around the country. The programme will focus on encouraging more people to start walking, and improving the environment for pedestrians.
    Voluntary and community groups, not-for-profit organisations and schools are eligible to apply. At least 70% of the project delivery must be located in, or benefit people living in, one of the five project areas: Aston, Ladywood, Nechells, Soho or Sparkbrook.
    Grants between £100 and £1,500 are available.
