Another Gold for Birmingham Parks at Chelsea
Congratulations to the Birmingham City Council Parks Team for their Gold Medal winning garden at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show last week.
This display was themed around 300 years of Birmingham Cathedral, 1715 to 2015. There was a floral representation of the Cathedral’s tower and bells with a cascade of flowers around a wicker angel. The display was once again entirely sponsored by residents, local businesses and companies with an interest in Birmingham, with plants grown.
Darren Share Head of Parks, thanked his whole team who all worked very hard to produce this winning garden, with locally grown plants and all willow sculptures made in house.
The garden also took the top prize of the Diamond Jubilee Award in the Great Pavilion.
A huge Congratulations to the whole team from us at BOSF!
