Another Chelsea Gold Medal for Birmingham Parks
Birmingham City Council Parks has been awarded another Gold Medal at the Chelsea Flower Show 2017, which makes six in a row now! The display celebrates the work of Birmingham artist, cartoonist and inventor Rowland Emett OBE – famous for his Chitty Chitty Bang Bang inventions. It is called A Quiet Afternoon in the Cloud Cuckoo Valley.
The display has been sponsored by Greenspace Leisure, Rowland Emett Society, Veolia, Akamba Heritage Centre, Pentland Plants, Certis, and individuals who have bought panels.
The Floral extravaganza brings to life Emett’s work with beautiful flowers and willow sculptures.
Congratulations to the whole team from Birmingham Parks!
