NCEF Rivers Day
The Northfield Constituency Environmental Forum (NCEF) will be holding an event on Friday 9th August. The forum covers the south of Birmingham, loosely the area covered by the Northfield district and is open to all groups and individuals who are interested in our parks and open spaces. The constituency hold a bi-monthly meeting that is open to all, usually on the first Friday of alternate months.
Most of their member groups have a connection with the River Rea or it’s tributaries and have decided to do something new, a themed daylong event.
Rivers Day will take place at Leyhill Park, 10am to 3pm, there will be a talk from the Environment Agency, a BOSF networking lunch and water sampling with Waterside Care amongst other activities. There is no obligation to stay all day they are happy for everyone to come and go as they wish, so please attend on the 9th August.
