• Congratulations to Birmingham in Bloom

    A big Congratulations to Birmingham City Council Parks and all partners involved for being awarded Gold in the National Champion of Champions from the RHS Britain in Bloom.
    Birmingham was also awarded a Gold and Category Winner from the Heart of England in Bloom. Well done to the whole team and to all the groups who came out to meet the judges!
    We would also like to send a huge congratulations to all the groups in Birmingham who entered, it really shows what a green and beautiful city we have!
    Some of the awards are as follows:

    • Friends of Branwood End Cemetery awarded a Silver Gilt in the Cemetery category
    • Friends of Brookvale Park awarded a Bronze in the Large Park  category
    • Acocks Green Village in Bloom awarded a Gold in the Urban Community category
    • Civic Centre Residents GrowSpace was awarded Thriving in Its Your Neighbourhood
    • Fox Hollies Environmental Centre was awarded Outstanding in Its Your Neighbourhood
    • Friends of Ward End Park was awarded Outstanding in Its Your Neighbourhood
