Small Grants Fund for East Birmingham Local Community Safety Partnership
The Small Grants Fund for East Birmingham Local Community Safety Partnership is open! This funding has been provided through Birmingham Community Safety Partnership and the Police & Crime Commissioner’s Office. Attached are the funding application and guidance notes.
The deadline for applications is Wednesday 21st September 2016, and all completed applications should be returned to Amelia Murray on [email protected].
Please could you circulate this to your organisations and networks? Key headlines are:
- It’s for Community Safety projects, and all funds must be spent by end March 2017.
- The total funding pot available for East Birmingham is £25k. (East Birmingham is defined as Hall Green, Hodge Hill and Yardley Districts).
- Applicants must be community or voluntary organisations; statutory organisations are not eligible to apply.
- The maximum value for an application is £5000.
Projects must contribute towards the following East Birmingham Local Community Safety Partnership priorities: Anti-Social Behaviour; Business Crime; Child Sexual Exploitation; Community Involvement; Domestic Violence; Litter or Environmental Crime; Mental Health; Preventing Violent Extremism; Road Safety; Substance Misuse; Young People.
We are also particularly interested in funding projects which are supported by the Birmingham City Council Place Manager and West Midlands Police Neighbourhood Team Sergeant.
The panel will consist of members of the East Birmingham Local Community Safety Partnership including the Chair and Vice Chair.
