Reform to Landfill Tax Funding Consultation Document

URGENT – Consultation about the Landfill Tax Fund: the Government is looking at this due to underspend and we do not want them to reduce the amount available. Such funding is vital in delivering improvements whilst an austerity agenda is still on the cards. The closing date for comments is the 10th June 2015.
We need to make sure that both Councils and Community Groups fill out this Consultation to show how important a fund this is for our open spaces and how it could be improved to get the funding out to communities better.
Please can you take the time to read over the document (click here) and send your comments in, to make sure we keep this fund and make it easier for groups to apply for the money!
