Big Dig at Brandwood and Cocksmoor Community Garden 21st September

The Brandwood & Cocksmoor Community garden are holding a Big Dig Open Gardens event on Saturday 21st September, building raised vegetable planters for our over-50s residents, under the supervision of Spring to Life CIC.
They are located on Grove Road, Kings heath B14 6SW, behind the Red Lion pub.
Everyone is welcome to come along, observe and hopefully help too. They start at 9am with a planning meeting and coffee and aim to finish by 5pm.
Free refreshments will be provided and the event is funded by their Timberland Earthkeepers’ Award. Tools provided by A J Paveley & Co of Sparkbrook, timber provided by Jericho Foundation.
