• Witton Lodge Community Association

Witton Lodge Community Association (WLCA) started life in 1994, established by local residents, in response to plans to demolish the Perry Common estate.

With foundations rooted in places and people, WLCA has significantly grown and diversified over the past three decades into a dynamic social enterprise and community landlord that supports diverse communities throughout North Birmingham.

As a pioneering community anchor, WLCA’s environmental work delivers a wide range of projects to residents through Witton Lakes Eco Hub. Opened in 2022, WLCA’s eco-friendly venue is located
within the beautiful surroundings of Witton Lakes and uses energy saving techniques and materials to reduce its carbon footprint and provides a community hub and café for local residents to enjoy.

We offer a wide range of free health, wellbeing, and ecology-based activities including an energy advice café, bike rides, gardening advice, tai-chi and yoga as well as a community orchard and
    outdoor classroom facility.
