• Nature Improvement Area

Park Hall Bluebells, Chris WishartThe Birmingham and Black Country Nature Improvement Area aims to achieve long-term environmental gains for the wildlife and people of Birmingham & the Black Country by delivering targeted biodiversity projects at a landscape scale.

The Nature Improvement Area is a title (or even a government designation) and is headed up by the Birmingham & Black Country Wildlife Trust.  They head up a partnership of over 60 organisations who are all determined to work together and create a high quality network of spaces that will provide much-needed habitat for declining species and much-needed opportunities for people to engage with wildlife near to where they live in this urban area.

The Nature Improvement Area would not be a success without the help of thousands of volunteers helping them to achieve such fantastic results all over Birmingham and the Black Country. Click here to find out more!
