Couch to 5K Run at Kings Norton Park

Taking up running can seem like a daunting project especially if you have never run before, feel out of shape or unfit. Our beginner programme is designed to get just about anyone off the couch and gradually work them up to running 5km (or for 30 minutes) in just 9 weeks.

It is designed for absolute beginners using a mixture of walking and jogging to gradually build up fitness and stamina.

Beginning  Saturday 12 November—joining may only be possible weeks 1-3 but please come along and speak to the leader who will be happy to advise.

Meet by the Car Park on West Hill Road

Tai chi combines deep breathing and relaxation with slow and gentle movements to help improve balance and stability. Experience the gentle flowing movements of Tai Chi, treat your whole body to a gentle and relaxing workout and say hello to feeling cool, calm, refreshed and energised.
