Stephen Daniels: Revealing Repton: Approaches to the Art of Landscape Gardening
Stephen Daniels, author of Humphry Repton: Landscape Gardening and the Geography of Georgian England (1999), will examine the way that Humphry Repton has been interpreted and commemorated. The appreciation of Repton’s work and landscapes has developed in many ways over the years. In this lively and fully illustrated talk Professor Daniels looks at new approaches to understanding and communicating the art of landscape gardening and ways to celebrate the cultural significance of Repton’s legacy in this bicentenary year.

Non-members £12. Ticket includes a glass of wine/soft drink.
