Active Parks Training Opportunities

Active Parks are offering the following training and development courses for local people wanting to become activators to deliver sessions across Birmingham:

  • Course: Rugby & Rounders Activator
  • Date: Saturday 27th June
  • Time: 10.00am – 3.00pm
  • Venue: Calthorpe Park & Wellbeing Hub, 257 Edward Road, Balsall Heath, Birmingham, B12 9LF
  • Who’s it for: Activators, session leaders, volunteers, coaches interested in delivering sessions within the Active Parks / Parklives programmes
  • Essential :  availability evenings, weekends to deliver sessions across Birmingham Parks and open spaces
  • Course: Handball Activator
  • Date: Monday 29th June
  • Time: 10.00am – 1.00pm
  • Venue:  Futsal Arena, 20 Great King Street North, Birmingham B19 2LF
  • Who’s it for: Activators, session leaders, volunteers, coaches interested in delivering sessions within the Active Parks / Parklives programmes
  • Essential :  availability evenings, weekends to deliver sessions across Birmingham Parks and open spaces
  • Course: Multi skills Commenwealth Activator – covers a number of sports
  • Date: Thursday 2nd July
  • Time: 6.30pm – 9.00pm
  • Venue:  Calthorpe Park & Wellbeing Hub, 257 Edward Road, Balsall Heath, Birmingham, B12 9LF
  • Who’s it for: Activators, session leaders, volunteers, coaches interested in delivering sessions within the Active Parks / Parklives programmes
  • Essential:  availability evenings, weekends to deliver sessions across Birmingham Parks and open spaces
  • Managing Challenging Behaviour (20 places available)
  • 16th July 2015 from 6.30pm-9pm
  • Birmingham Futsal Arena, 20 Great King Street North, Birmingham B19 2LF
